Matt is responsible for leading the Network Management function in EMEA. He has worked in senior management positions in capital markets in New York, London and Athens. He started his career on Wall Street at Salomon Brothers. He was Managing Director at two of the largest international investment banks, UBS and Merrill Lynch, where he created and led large teams of leading analysts, building an extensive international network of contacts with major and significant investment firms around the world.
In Greece, he was Chief Investment Officer of Eurobank as well as CEO of Eurobank Asset Management, the largest mutual fund management company in the country. He has also worked in key positions in hedge funds abroad with billions in investments in global markets. He specializes in legislative and policy initiatives that affect the CSD industry from both EU and global perspectives. With a legal background in European and International Law, combined with a specialization in the financial services industry, Nicholas supports and guides ECSDA's Policy and Compliance Working Groups. In this role, he is responsible for a range of activities in policy analysis and strategy, legal interpretation and representing ECSDA’s views externally. He has been closely engaged in the CSDR REFIT legislative process since its inception, as well as broader innovation and digital proposals. With a holistic knowledge of regulatory frameworks, he offers valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by the CSD industry.

He has over 25 years’ experience in the Securities Services industry having undertaken a number of senior roles across operations, product and business management with HSBC Securities Services, before moving to JPMorgan in 2011 where he again undertook a number of senior roles including; Country Manager for UK and Ireland, Head of Global Custody Product Management, Global Head of Asset Servicing Product and Product Development. He has most recently been a Senior Industry Consultant before joining Broadridge in November 2020.

Sachin currently works in the Client and Market Solutions team at Goldman Sachs with a focus on global post-trade efficiency, regulatory strategy and accelerated settlement. Sachin is the co-chair of the AFME Post-Trade Transaction, Clearing & Settlement Committee and AFME Market Settlement Efficiency Taskforce. Sachin is an active member of the UK HMT T+1 Taskforce and SIFMA T+1 working group. At AFME he has co-authored the T+1 Settlement in Europe paper, lead the publication of the industry-wide TARGET2-Securities (T2S) and Partial Settlements recommendation papers. Most recently, she was a research director with Aite Group, heading up the Institutional Securities & Investments practice and covering data management, collateral management, legal entity onboarding, and post-trade technology. In this role she spearheaded strategy for the practice and managed a team of eight analysts across the globe.
