Wally’s team is responsible for the selection and oversight of U.S. Bank’s foreign sub-custodians and cash correspondent banks that support U.S. Bank’s Wealth Management & Investment Services business, as well as its Global Custody Services Product. Wally has been in the custody business for over 15 years with tenures at Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) and Northern Trust prior to joining U.S. Bank in March 2017.

Wally as a BA in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and an MBA in International Business from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Sonat is currently the Global Head of Network Management, a position she has held since 2016. In her current role she is responsible for the regulatory oversight, governance and commercial management of Citi Global Custody’s network of 61 proprietary sub-custody branches, 40 agent banks and 2 ICSDs.

Sonat has been with Citi for over 20 years, beginning her career as a Management Associate in 1996, and has subsequently held a variety of roles across business lines and geographies. These include senior roles in the Consumer bank including Head of International Personal Banking in the UK and Head of Branch Banking for Turkey. Sonat joined Citi’s transaction services business in 2008 as Head of Strategy and Planning before being appointed the regional Chief Administrative Officer for Securities Services in 2010. Most recently, Sonat was appointed the Global Business Manager for Global Custody and Alternative Investor Services in 2014, where she was instrumental in driving the business’ transformation agenda and overseeing the commercial and product governance of the business.

Sonat has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bosphorus University in Istanbul and holds an MBA degree from the Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University

Laura Bayley is originally a lawyer and has extensive experience in regulatory topics and projects related to financial market infrastructures. She has worked at SIX since 2016 and at SIX x-clear since 2020. As responsible for regulatory and strategic topics within SIX x-clear she has gained insights into the functioning of the clearing market and has been heavily involved in various integration projects between SIX x-clear and BME Clearing. On 01 May 2022, Laura took over the management of SIX x-clear at a legal entity level and continues to be responsible for regulatory and governance topics across BME and SIX on a functional level within the area of clearing. She is also a permanent guest on the Management Board of the Securities Services Business Unit.
Prior to working at SIX, Laura worked for a large Swiss law firm after finalising her double degrees in Law and Sinology from the Universities of Zurich and Berne.

Christina started her career in the Analyst Programme at Lehman Brothers in Global Markets. Over the following years Christina has worked in Corporate Strategy at Nomura and Bank of America as well as Chief of Staff at Deutsche Bank before joining Citi in 2020 and now running the UK Client Executive function for Banks & FIs.

Julie joined J.P. Morgan in 2019 and is based in London, she is responsible for the Network Management Governance and Oversight framework of J.P. Morgan’s relationships with subcustodians, agent banks and FMIs.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Julie spent 20+ years at Citi in various roles; across operations, sales and relationship management. The last 12 years were in the network management space, initially as an EMEA network manager covering a range of markets and then additionally taking on the management of the aligned offshored account opening group. In 2013 the network management regulatory team was formed and Julie assumed global responsibility. She established the team; drove the control environment, lead oversight standardisation, reviewed and managed the implementation of regulatory change, impacting the network management function.

As Head of Commercial Development at Cboe Cleer, Tim leads a team of eight people with responsibility for sales, relationship management, client services, marketing, and product development. His focus is on advancing and growing client relationships, generating new business and looking for opportunities to create new products and services that address clients’ needs.

Jesús is Chairman of the T2S CSDs Steering Group (CSG), since the creation of this Group in 2012. In T2S, he is involved in AMI-SeCo.
Jesús Benito is Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.) of IBERCLEAR since 2006.
He has been involved in the European CSD Association (ECSDA) as member of its Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
Jesús Benito has participated in numerous international Groups, among others: the European Commission's Clearing and Settlement Advisory and Monitoring Expert Group (CESAME and CESAMEII), Monitoring Operating Group (MOG).
Before joining Iberclear in 2000, he worked for Banco de España from 1988 to 2000, as Head of Section responsible for CSD links and securities settlement policy issues.

Michael is the global head of Network Management & Market Strategy at Northern Trust. He oversees the teams dedicated to providing market access and insights across the traditional and digital securities services markets within the Digital Assets and Financial Markets group. His role is key to the ongoing management of Northern Trust’s market-facing relationships across both traditional and digital markets. Michael, who has worked with Northern Trust for 16 years, has experience across risk management, commercial partnerships and financial markets.

Previously, Michael lead the Market Advocacy & Innovation Research group for the EMEA region for Northern Trust. He was responsible for assessing the impact of regulatory and market infrastructure change to Northern Trust’s operating model and identifying innovative operating structures and revenue opportunities. Michael also informed the bank’s strategy in relation to FinTech developments (such as blockchain, digital & crypto assets) and market access strategies. Michael’s role also incorporated working with key industry associations, consortia, regulators, governmental bodies and other financial services firms in support of Northern Trust’s strategic innovation initiatives.

Prior to Northern Trust, Michael was a management consultant at research based consultancy, Thomas Murray, and has held various positions in Deutsche Bank Asset Management and Custody.

Bruno Campenon is the global head of the Financial Intermediaries and Corporates client line, based in Paris. He is a member of BNP Paribas Securities Services Executive committee and Business Committee.
Previous Mr. Campenon has over 20 years of experience in the Securities Services industry. He joined the securities department of the investment bank, Paribas in 1993. Mr. Campenon was the head of Clearing and Custody Services & Corporate Trust Services, Americas, in charge of the Clearing and Custody Services & Corporate Trust Services strategy, operations and products in the Americas until June 2017.

Prior to that, Mr. Campenon was Location Manager of BNP Paribas Securities Services Hong Kong from 2008 to 2014, also in charge of the clearing and custody franchise in Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Australia, and New Zealand. He also was responsible for the reengineering projects for clearing and custody worldwide from 2000 to 2008.

Mike specializes in developing new business opportunities, product innovation and change delivery in regard to post-trading environments. He provides, and is well known in the industry for thought leadership throughout the clearing & settlement, custody landscape across the globe.

Mike has 30 years of financial experience, with over 15 years in Deutsche Bank Securities Services, having previously working at Broadridge Financial Solutions, and Bank of New York Pershing Ltd, where he held similar global product management and product delivery roles in post-trade services.

Kashif brings with him over 20 years of experience within the Securities Services industry in Europe and the Middle East with previous positions as Head of Sales with NBAD, and a range of relationship management roles within BNY Mellon, State Street and Barclays Capital in London.  He has a wealth of experience in creating and delivering solutions to some of the world’s largest investors, including Sovereign Wealth Funds, Asset Managers, Insurance Companies and Pension Funds.

Based in Boston, Cate also spent five years in Europe—in BBH’s Luxembourg and Krakow offices working closely to service and design solutions for our European Bank clients. While in Europe, Cate also served as a Co-Chair of the European Women’s Network and was a member of the Luxembourg and Krakow Executive Committees. Cate joined BBH in 1998 in the Corporate Actions division and has also held various roles within Operations during her tenure. Cate holds a B.A. in art history from the College of the Holy Cross.
