Nicholas Mallia serves as a Policy Officer at the European CSD Association (ECSDA). He specializes in legislative and policy initiatives that affect the CSD industry from both EU and global perspectives. With a legal background in European and International Law, combined with a specialization in the financial services industry, Nicholas supports and guides ECSDA's Policy and Compliance Working Groups. In this role, he is responsible for a range of activities in policy analysis and strategy, legal interpretation and representing ECSDA’s views externally. He has been closely engaged in the CSDR REFIT legislative process since its inception, as well as broader innovation and digital proposals. With a holistic knowledge of regulatory frameworks, he offers valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by the CSD industry.
