His responsibilities include running a team of 25 analysts and network managers who track custodian and market practice in 104 markets and assess risks in over 300 custodians, 145 CSDs and 27 CCPs worldwide. Jim is a subject matter expert on post-trade infrastructure and has led various strategic consulting projects on market infrastructure. Previously, Jim was a senior analyst within TM Network Management evaluating and selecting local and global custodians for clients as well as supporting a variety of consultancy engagements. Prior to joining TM in 1995, he was at Taylor Nelson Sofres as a Project Supervisor in their Financial division.

Barnaby Nelson is Regional Head of Securities Services for North East Asia and Greater China in Standard Chartered’s Transaction Banking.

As Head of the MSCI Index Business in Asia Pacific, Theodore (Ted) Niggli is responsible for developing the business strategy, driving the product and commercial development and orchestrating client facing and research activities in the region. Ted has been with MSCI since 2000, starting in New York, then transferring to London in 2001, before moving to Shanghai in 2012.
Prior to joining MSCI in 2000, Ted worked for Procter & Gamble for more than 12 years occupying a variety of roles, most recently as Marketing Director in Brazil. Ted started his P&G career in Switzerland, and then moved to Poland, Belgium and finally Brazil.

Tess is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Philippine Depository and Trust Corp. (PDTC), the country’s CSD for the equities and fixed income securities markets. Concurrently, Tess is the President and COO of the Philippine Securities Settlement Corporation (PSSC) which provides the payments infrastructure for the fixed income and currency markets in the country. Both entities are subsidiaries of the Philippine Dealing System Holdings Corporation (PDS).
She represents the Philippine depository in the Asian Bond Market Forum, the Cross Border Settlement Infrastructure Forum, the Asia-Pacific CSD Group and recently, in the Asian Fund Standardization Forum where PDTC is the newest member of the group.
