John van Verre has been appointed as the Global Head of Network Management and Enhanced Due Diligence recently. John is responsible for the management of the agent network for cash and securities for HSBC and the Enhanced Global Banking and Markets Client and Correspondent Banking Due Diligence process.
John joined HSBC in June 2008 as the Head of HSBC Securities Services in Singapore and was acting Managing Director of HSBC Securities Services Ireland from August 2010 until his appointment as Head of Global Custody in January 2011 and Global Head of Custody in 2016.
Prior to joining HSBC, John was a member of the Managing Board of ABN AMRO Mellon Global Securities Services, a joint venture providing a wide range of asset servicing solutions with a strong focus on global custody. John held a variety of positions within ABN AMRO Bank, which he joined in 1988.
