Rev. Daniel Ogbarmey Tetteh is currently the Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Ghana. He has over twenty (20) years’ experience in investment banking with Databank Group, where he was the Head of Asset Management and Research.
He was the Vice President of the Ghana Securities Industry Association (GSIA) and presently, the Chairman of the Board of the Ghana Investments and Securities Institute (GISI) as well as the Chairman for the West African Securities Regulatory Association (WASRA). He lectured briefly in Marketing at the University of Ghana Business School from 1996 to 1998. He is the author of two books, including the bestseller, titled “31 Days to Financial Independence”. He is also credited as author of several articles.

Gunsel is responsible for Citi’s Securities Services business across EMEA Emerging markets, covering Middle East, Africa, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
Gunsel joined Citi in 2005 and has since held several senior positions within the securities services and direct custody and clearing business. Prior to joining Citi, Gunsel was the International Department Head at Borsa Istanbul group.
With more than 25 years of experience across the capital markets industry, Gunsel works closely with stock exchanges, central counterparty clearing Houses (CCPs), central securities depositories (CSDs), and regulatory institutions as part of the regional capital market development and implementation of best practices. He currently represents Citi at AMEDA (Association of Middle East and Africa CSDs) as associate member.

Mr Tsheole has extensive financial markets experience in Capital Markets, Forex, Structured Products and the Financial Market Regulation. He was appointed CEO of BSEL in January 2016 having been Deputy CEO since February 2014.

Mr Tsheole is a firm believer in the development of the financial market in Botswana and Africa, as well as their importance to economic growth and stability and has led initiatives to increase activity in the financial market in Botswana. In recognition of his exceptional and devoted service to Botswana he was awarded the Presidential Order of Meritorious Service by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Botswana in September 2018.

Mr Tsheole is the Chairman of the Committee of SADC Stock Exchanges (CoSSE), and the President of African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA). He also sits on the following Boards; Botswana Accountancy Oversight Authority and Special Economic Zones Authority (SEZA) where he is the Chairman. As a result of his extensive experience he serves as a member of Africa Integrated Reporting Committee (AIRC), a joint initiative between Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA) and World Bank since July, 2017.

Okey presently heads Office of the Chief Economist at the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), Nigeria. Prior to joining the SEC in 2016 as Head of Risk Management, he spent thirteen years in various roles at the Central Bank of Nigeria, including helping manage tens of billions of dollars in reserve assets and macro prudential stress testing, helping ensure financial system stability.

Okey holds the CFA charter, is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and a Financial Risk Manager. He earned an MBA, an MSc. in Financial Management and is presently working towards a PhD in finance.

In his spare time, he tutors candidates for CFA, FRM, and ACCA exams, volunteers as chair of the membership committee of the local society of chartered financial analysts, and writes a monthly column in AB AFR, ACCA’s member magazine.

Yasser Zaazaa was appointed Head of Securities Services, North Africa and Pakistan in 2021. He has 30 years of experience in the securities industry including operations, account management, relationship management.
Yasser started his career working at Retail Banking, Corporate Banking then Securities Services until 2005. He moved to Nationale Societe Generale Bank (SG Subsidiary in Egypt) in 2005. He served as the Head of Securities Services, and Country Manager for SGSS in Egypt, then as Regional Head of Securities Services for Northern Africa (Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco) until 2013.
Most recently, Yasser was the Securities Services Head at Qatar National Bank Al-Ahli, since 2014 to 2020, as well as serving as member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Central Securities Depository (MCDR) since 2012, till June 2020, elected by the market to represent local custodians.
