Akiko Horie is managing director at Accenture and leads the company´s Capital Markets practice in Asia Pacific.

She is focused on business transformation with deep experience in areas like business and IT strategy, cost reduction, IT transformation, emerging technologies, and post-merger integration.

Horie-san joined Accenture 24 years ago and has led numerous business consulting and systems integration engagements with major Japanese financial companies in the banking, investment banking and wealth management space during her career.

A resident of Tokyo, she also leads Accenture’s Inclusion & Diversity and Women’s Initiatives in Japan.
