Barnaby Nelson is CEO of the ValueExchange: an initiative designed to provide actionable, statistical insights into the trends that are shaping the worlds of Finance and Technology today.

Prior to the ValueExchange, Barnaby worked for 15 years in the Asian banking sector in BNP Paribas and most recently at Standard Chartered. In his last role, as Managing Director and Head of Securities Services for Greater China and North Asia, he led numerous industry initiatives aimed at driving the internationalization of the Chinese financial markets above all. Working in close co-operation with global regulators, exchanges and market bodies he has led regulatory approvals for several leading initiatives in Asia.
