Stephen Man is the Global Head of Technology and Change for the Banks and Broker Dealers sector at HSBC Securities Services providing technical and execution leadership across Custody (global and direct), Securities Lending, Treasury and Asset Servicing, with key emphasis on One Custody and digitization. In partnership with HSBC Securities Services Digital and Data, this digitization covers application programming interfaces (API), artificial intelligence (AI), data as a service (DaaS), and digital asset services (DLT & tokens). Prior to this, he was Regional Head of Equities Technology, HSBC Global Banking and Markets Technology, with responsibilities spanning Front-to-Back and Regulatory engagement and education. He has been in Hong Kong for 13 years and prior to Hong Kong, he worked in his native home of Toronto, Ontario, Canada with RBC Capital Markets and Scotia Capital.
