Meagen joined Prudential as Chief Operating Officer in August 2011. She began her career with KPMG in January 1997 and moved with their Information Risk Management department to London in 2000. In 2001, she moved to Goldman Sachs as a senior associate in their Management Controls Division. In 2003, she joined JP Morgan; initially as an audit partner in their General Audit Division and subsequently as business manager in Investment Banking Operations. In 2009, she moved back to South Africa with JP Morgan, where she was the Head of Operations for their Investment Services Division.

Meagen is a member of the Prudential Portfolio Managers (SA) (Pty) Ltd. Board, Prudential Investment Managers (SA) (Pty) Ltd. Board, the Board Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, Fair Value Committee, New Product Committee and IT Risk Committee.

Her qualifications include BBusSc (Honours in Finance), CA(SA) and CISA designation.
