Kevin is a co-founder and the CEO of A2X Markets. A2X is a licenced Stock Exchanged regulated by the Financial Services Board of South Africa.
A2X competes directly with the JSE and provides an alternative platform for companies to secondary list and trade their shares.
Kevin was raised in SA, Australia and the UK and has a business studies honours degree from the London Metropolitan University. Kevin started his career as a trainee portfolio manager at FirstCorp Investment Bank before joining institutional stock broker Barnard Jacobs Mellet (BJM). He worked at BJM for 8 years and was head of equity trading and a director. Kevin then moved to Investec where he spent a total of 12 years, 9 of these as a director and head of the Investec Institutional Securities and Prime Broking division.
