Ryan Proudfoot heads up the Prime Services division for Rand Merchant Bank, which is part of the FirstRand Group. He has extensive experience in the financial markets with specific expertise in Securities lending, Futures clearing, Equities and Fixed Income Prime Broking, market risk management and credit counterparty risk management . He is a non-executive Director of Strate Ltd and has served on a number of Boards such as RMB Stockbroking Operations (Pty) Ltd and SAFEX Clearing Company (Pty) Ltd, as well as on advisory committees which include SA Institute of Stockbrokers, SAFCOM Derivatives Risk Committee, JSE Currency Derivatives Advisory Committee, S.A. Securities Lending Association and the JSE Bonds Advisory Committee
